Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment, ensuring high-quality production, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and perform all required checks in machining areas.
- Demonstrate understanding and ownership of Quality Assurance (QA) systems to ensure production standards are met.
- Manage tool life effectively and follow company procedures for tool maintenance and replacement.
- Power up designated machines safely after power loss or work stoppage conditions.
- Perform complete machine setups, including fixture plates, torque wrench settings, hand tools, gauging, and all required documentation for first-piece approval.
- Use internal and external measuring tools and devices accurately to maintain part specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure product accuracy.
- Follow a predetermined machine schedule to meet production goals efficiently and on time.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC or manual machining equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications.
- Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
