Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist for one of our manufacturing clients based in** Akron, OH** location to support precision machining operations.

**Shifts : **1st and 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications

• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure tolerance compliance

• Troubleshoot basic tooling, machining, and equipment issues to minimize downtime

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

• Maintain accurate production and inspection records

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC operation and basic programming

• Valid forklift certification

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot tooling and machining issues

• Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

• Solid math and computer skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion

• Strong communication skills with a high level of attention to detail

You should be proficient in:

• G-Code
