The CNC Value Stream Manager is responsible for the overall direction and performance of the CNC Department; including: Operators, Team Leads and Programmers, in regards to the training of the operators and providing the highest quality products and resources for the Company.
What You’ll Do:
Sets-up and operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines as needed or required. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to assure the quality of parts being produced. Coordinates production to meet schedules and ensures that company policies and procedures are followed at all times, paying particular attention to safety, quality and maintenance of equipment.
Oversees and assures that proper maintenance and care is taken on all CNC tooling and fixtures.
Works closely with CNC Programmer to foster teamwork and ensure correctness and accuracy of CNC programs. Ensures that all programming changes or modifications that are implemented at the machining center are clearly communicated to the CNC Programmer and the appropriate files are updated accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
This position is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the non-exempt operators, programmers and team leads.
