- Load and unload machine
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure that parts and components are manufactured to the required specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that all machines are running efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve processes and resolve production challenges
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Maintain and repair as needed to ensure that they are operating at peak efficiency.
- Ensure that all work is completed within the established timeframes and meets the required quality standards.
- Keep accurate records of machine operations and maintenance activities.
Work within a visual Lean Manufacturing Environment/System
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
