Job Title: CNC Programmer

Location: Manchester, CT (On-site)

Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday through Friday

Compensation: $38.50–$45.00 per hour, based on experience.

**Position Overview: **

An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join its production team. This individual will be responsible for developing and improving machining programs, supporting production operations, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:- Create and modify CNC programs for multi-axis machining equipment.

• Utilize CAM software to develop efficient machining programs.

• Review technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, machining methods, and operating parameters.

• Assist with tooling, fixture design, and machining process improvements.

• Test and verify programs to ensure accurate production results.

• Maintain programming documentation and update program files as needed.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.

• Work with engineering and production teams to meet quality and production goals.

Skills/Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience.

• Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, machining processes, and tooling.

• Experience with Mastercam, GibbsCAM, SolidWorks, or comparable software.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

• Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machining.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus.
