CNC Machine Technician
Location: Northeast Ohio
Schedule: First Shift (Day Shift)
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary
A well-established precision manufacturing company in Northeast Ohio is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Technician to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with CNC machining centers and lathes, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues.
- Troubleshoot machine performance problems to minimize downtime.
- Install, test, and calibrate machining equipment and tooling systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Coordinate with production personnel to prioritize maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase machine reliability and efficiency.
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new machine installations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience maintaining CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC controls (Fanuc), machine tool systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting servo motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Swiss-style CNC machines, screw machines, lathes, or precision-machined products.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
