Job Description

Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is hiring an experienced Tsugami Swiss CNC Machine Set-Up / Operator.

This position is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of hands-on experience running and setting up Tsugami Swiss-type CNC lathes to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components.

Pay: Starting at $30+/hour based on experience and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up Tsugami Swiss-type CNC machines according to work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Operate machines to produce precision parts that meet tight tolerance requirements.

• Load raw materials, adjust machine settings, and monitor operations to prevent defects or downtime.

• Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.

• Make program edits and tool offsets as needed to maintain part accuracy.

• Change tooling and complete minor maintenance to keep machines in top condition.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment according to company safety standards.

• Record production data, scrap, downtime, and any quality concerns.

• Collaborate with Quality Control and Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Train and mentor junior operators when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience with Tsugami Swiss CNC machine setup and operation.

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.

• Proficiency in precision measurement tools and inspection processes.

• Ability to make program edits and tool offsets confidently.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Commitment to quality and workplace safety.
