Job Description

As are a premier tool manufacturer dedicated to quality, consistency, service and value. We are now seeking a new CNC Set Up technician to join our team.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include running all the machines within the CNC (Specialty Tool) Department.

What You Will Do:

• Set up and operate many different operations used in our manufacturing process
• Full time (40 hours/week)
• Read blueprints and or job cards for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be produced
• Install parts into machines necessary to insure proper function of machine process
• Set machine controls to specified grinding speeds, feed rates, and angle of wheels
• Verify dimensions of finished work piece for conformance to specifications
• Maintain efficient operations of all machines to ensure maximum productivity
• Assist in the operation of all machines
• Complete necessary paperwork and inventory input for maintaining proper documentation of operation
• Troubleshoot machinery
• Maintain clean, orderly and safe work environment
• Willingness to participate in various continual improvement efforts
• Training is provided

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• High School or GED
• Leadership Skills to continually improve the areas
• Team work and communication skills
• The ability to train others
• Excellent technical skills
• Available to work full time (40 hours/week) and meet attendance requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• The ability to work in a fast past position
