RESPONSIBILITES:

Preferred candidates will have some formal training and hands-on experience with CNC machines but we will train candidates that are mechanically inclined and are interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing.

DUTIES:

Learn to setup and run CNC grinding machines (Anca, Walter, Saacke)
Spend part of each day training and part of each day working/helping other operators run production
Work under the instructor’s and supervisor’s guidance
Regular goals and reviews: 30 days, 45 days, reviews according to assigned goals, 12 month

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate or GED.

EXPERIENCE:

Familiar with Microsoft Office is a plus.

SKILLS:

Mathematic skills: basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Stand or walk 100% of the shift.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
Prior machining experience is a plus.
Previous factory experience preferred.
Attention to details.
Team player.
Reliable work history with good references.
To be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift after training (if we are hiring for these shifts).
Training in 1st shift for 6-12 months (Mon – Fri).
