Looking for a starting point in a skilled trade?

What this work looks like:

Read process sheets, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine dimensions, setup, and operating requirements
Set up and operate CNC machines to machine steel work pieces
Perform and document quality inspections
Monitor and replace machine tooling as needed

Skills needed to win:

Comfortable using CNC machine controls and following instructions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
Solid understanding of basic math, including fractions and decimals
Dependable, detail-orientated, and committed to doing the job right
Eager to learn and grow into more complex roles like multi-axis machining and programming
