Job Overview:

Description

 We are looking for an entry level CNC Operator. No experience is required. If you are hard working and reliable you can be successful in this position. Training will be provided.


We have two shifts available: 


5:00am - 1:30pm (M-F)

or

2:30pm - 11:00pm (M-F)


The main function of this job is to load and unload materials into a CNC machine throughout your shift. Your goal is to keep your machines running the entire shift. Other responsibilities will be visually checking for damage on the parts you create, visually checking tooling for damage, visually checking oil/coolant levels, recording production, and keeping machine and work-area clean.

 

Responsibilities:

· Shift: Monday – Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm or 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

· Loading/Unloading CNC machines.

· Adhering to company safety procedures.

· Promote a culture of safety and reporting unsafe practices and actively contributing to creating a safe environment.

· Cleaning coolant/oil from parts created.

· Monitor tooling.

· Maintain a clean and safe workplace, in line with preventative maintenance programs.

· Monitor oil/coolant levels.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance operations.

· Communicating issues to shift lead.

· Record production produced and raw materials at machine


Benefits:

· Pay: Minimum pay is $17.00 per hour. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications. The biggest factor will be relevant experience.

· This is a full-time, hourly position.

Requirements

  Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Aptitude & Technical Skills: Strong understanding and hands-on      experience with precision tools, machinery, and industrial processes, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while fostering a      collaborative team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong competency in critical thinking and effective problem-solving within technical or fast-paced environments.
  • An onsite industrial manufacturing position, with exposure to noise, heat, cold, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and maneuver up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is continuously standing, repetitively grasping and repetitively using fine manipulation with the hands. 
  • The team member may be frequently required to walk, bend, squat, or twist as well as repetitively push or pull.
  • Will be required to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Safely working next to equipment.
  • This position is performed in a shop environment. Team members in this position will be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals and vapors.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools. 
  • Ability to use an iPad.
  • Ability to tighten and untighten fixtures.
