**Position Summary:

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role ensures high-quality output, maintains safe work practices, and supports production goals through efficiency and accuracy.
**Key Responsibilities:
**
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or grinders) according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
Load raw materials and verify tooling setup to ensure proper machine function.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure they meet tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work areas clean and organized.
Identify and report malfunctions, deviations, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions.
Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to resolve production issues.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
**Qualifications:
**
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.
1–3 years of CNC machine operation experience (entry-level candidates may be considered with training).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and safety awareness.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
