Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Setup Technician / CNC Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Irwin, PA area. This position supports production by setting up CNC equipment, performing changeovers, and assisting machine operators to ensure efficient and accurate output.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals with hands-on CNC experience who are looking to grow within a production environment.

Pay Rate:

• $23.00 – $27.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Shift & Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• Monday – Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM OR 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Duties of the Setup Technician / CNC Machine Operator:

• Perform tooling setups and machine changeovers
• Complete fixture changeovers as required
• Run first-piece parts and conduct inspections
• Make minor CNC program edits when necessary
• Monitor machine operations to maintain quality and efficiency
• Support machine attendants and entry-level operators
• Identify and report tooling, machine, or quality issues
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the production process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of the Setup Technician / CNC Machine Operator:

• Familiarity with CNC machines (lathe and/or mill)
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform basic inspections using measuring tools
• Minor CNC programming experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Must be able to wear a respirator when required (must be clean shaven to meet safety compliance standards)
