Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality aerospace components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, preferably in the aerospace sector.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine setup.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
