Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Performs work order activities according to production process procedure.
• Performs material loading of equipment including CNCs, chucker, bar feeders, CNC Saw, and ancillary equipment.
• Gathers and measures parts as produced by CNC operations.
• Performs CNC cycle starts and stop procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Performs daily equipment maintenance inspections including but not limited to lubrication, fluid checks and additions, chip handling, scrap removal, etc.
• Performs tool insert changes at predetermined intervals accurately and efficiently.
• Reports operational malfunctions including but not limited to equipment failures, equipment damage, scrap, etc.
• May work in other departments, as needed, based on training and qualifications.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical/Mechanical coursework desired
• 1 to 2 years manufacturing related experience
• Skill in operating CNC machinery as well as precision measurement tools preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to use and accurately read blueprints and measure using devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Must be accurate and exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with others.
