CNC LATHE OPERATOR

Location: Paterson, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $28.00/hour, based on experience and skills

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes, reading blueprints, and performing quality inspections. Experience with HAAS CNC equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete multiple CNC machine setups, including adjusting tool lengths and offsets.
• Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and mills.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform first-article inspections and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Machine aluminum and stainless-steel materials.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Learn and operate additional machine types, including Kiwa.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience setting up and operating HAAS CNC lathes/mills preferred.
• Experience machining aluminum and stainless steel.
• Mastercam programming knowledge preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic math and geometry.
• Basic computer skills.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: $28.00/hour, depending on experience and skills

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
