Senior CNC Lathe Machinist

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced **Senior CNC Lathe Machinist **in Lafayette, LA. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC lathe setup and operation experience and be able to produce quality parts to print with minimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes

• Read and interpret machining drawings

• Select tooling and set offsets

• Troubleshoot machining issues

• Work with various materials and applications

• Inspect finished parts and ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of CNC lathe experience preferred

• Y-Axis knowledge is a plus

• HAAS ST35LY Lathe 

  experience preferred

• Strong machining and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Quality-focused and detail-oriented

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

• Currently working 48 hours per week

Pay

• $25+/Hr. DOEbased on skill level
