We're looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team and help deliver high-quality, precision-machined products for our customers. In this role, you'll work with a variety of equipment, tooling, and NC programs to meet exact blueprint specifications, while playing an active role in our quality and continuous improvement culture.
What You'll Do
- Machine parts to meet customer specifications using assigned equipment, tooling, and programs
- Read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring instruments, and apply expendable and permanent tooling and NC programs to meet all blueprint requirements
- Accurately document work results on the Job Traveler and related paperwork
- Report setup times, run times, and other production data through our E-2 reporting system
- Track and report scrap (setup and run) and rework labor as required
- Support Internal Auditors during Quality Management System (QMS) audits
- Keep your work area clean and organized, including proper disposal of chips and excess material
- Understand and apply company Quality Policies and Objectives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating machining equipment (CNC and/or manual, depending on assigned area)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Basic computer skills for production reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support audits and process improvements
