Overview

We are hiring CNC Lathe Operators with 4+ years experience in tight tolerance work (in the tenths) for a 4-month contract onsite in Pennsylvania.

Project Specs:

• 4 Month Duration onsite in PA
• $32/hr
• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED
• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)
• Must have ITAR Documentation (Passport or Birth Certificate)
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• References required

Responsibilities

• Operate Mazak 250 lathes (some with live tooling), all with Mazatrol Smooth and Mazatrol Matrix controls.

• Complete high volume, high mix of parts on a daily basis with need to meet very specific KPIs.

• Perform some light deburring operations or using drill presses to chamfer parts, in addition to sandpaper and burr whips.

• Perform offsets and adjustments for tool wear or tool changes or to tackle any quality issues that are occurring.

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in high precision industries where inspection requirements are high and tolerances are tight (aerospace, medical, etc.).

• Must have experience machining parts with tolerances in the tenths.

• Experience using Mazak machines, Mazatrol controls

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
