Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, operate, and adjust lathe machines for precision part production.

The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, experience with measurement tools, and a solid mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines
• Load, unload, and adjust machines as needed
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools to ensure accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Run first-piece checks to verify machine setup and make necessary adjustments
• Perform basic mechanical tasks to support machining operations
• Ensure production parts meet required specifications and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Proficient with measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay:

Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
