CNC Lathe Machinist III
2nd Shift, 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM, Monday - Thursday
Hourly rate $26.00 - $33.00 DOE (plus 10% shift differential)
Ability to work overtime during the week and Saturdays as needed

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Sets up and operates CNC Turning Center.
JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure proper material and stock size for job.
- Document all information needed to run job.
- Operate machines and inspect parts in accordance with Quality Procedures.
- Verify conformance of parts to specifications using micrometers, dial indicators, and optical comparator.
- Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance functions.
- Program edits, indicating tooling and fixtures, and troubleshooting minor problems and tooling issues.This job description in no way states or even implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION &/ OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
- Two (2) years of CNC experience required.
- Possesses high attention to detail.
- Must be familiar with the use of gauges and measurement devices.
- Knowledge of general machining principles preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and G Code.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
