Job Overview:

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Woodridge, IL. This is a direct hire role with a global leader in manufacturing and flow control solutions. You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision parts that meet exact specifications. This position offers competitive pay, shift differential, an annual bonus, and full benefits starting Day 1.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.

  • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, depth gauges).

  • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with minor repairs.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.

  • Proven CNC lathe setup and operation experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.

  • Reliable transportation to Woodridge, IL, and ability to work 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNC programming experience (preferred but not required).

  • Manual machining experience.

  • Technical training or certification in machining.

  • Previous experience in a large manufacturing/repair shop environment.
