Position Overview:
The Fabrication Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of fabrication and CNC equipment to manufacture custom parts according to work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Set up and operate multiple types of fabrication and CNC machines to produce custom components per customer orders and engineering drawings.
Secure and align workpieces properly using clamps, fixtures, and tools.
Interpret work orders, blueprints, and standard charts to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
Inspect finished parts using basic measuring instruments to confirm conformance with quality standards.
Complete required production and work order documentation accurately.
Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool checks.
Package and label parts according to order requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Participate in cross-training to support multiple processes within the department.
Report any equipment malfunctions, material issues, or safety concerns promptly.

Basic to intermediate math and measurement skills.
