Requirements of CNC Lathe Machinist:

• 3+ years of CNC Machining Lathe Set Up and Operation experience required
• Program Editing: Fanuc Controls or G/M Code experience required
• Must be able to Read Blueprints, Engineering Drawings, + GD&T required
• Capable of using Measuring Equipment: Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, Etc required
• Experience with machining Hydraulic Cylinder, Shafts, Rods, Tubes, Pistons, Bushings, Etc preferred

Responsibilities of CNC Lathe Machinist:

Candidate should have a working knowledge of CNC Machine operation including programming, Setup, Maintenance, Operation, and the ability to diagnose minor mechanical issues with the equipment/fixturing. Candidate should possess shop math skills including calculating proper feed and speed for materials, metric conversions. Interpreting Blueprints and Geometric tolerances. Candidate must be capable of holding tolerances and meeting surface finish requirements. Basic computer skills with file transfer are beneficial.
