CNC Lathe Machinist – First Shift | LTL Machining

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable CNC lathe machinist who takes pride in clean setups, tight tolerances, and producing quality parts. You’ll be setting up and running CNC lathes in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment. This is a** **first-shift role with a flexible start time, designed to support work-life balance without compromising productivity.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathes for production and prototype jobs
Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot and adjust setups independently
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
Collaborate with the team to improve processes and flow

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC lathes
Solid knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining best practices
Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances
Experience with Exact JobBOSS or similar ERP system is a plus
Positive attitude and strong sense of ownership
