CNC Lathe Machinist – First Shift | LTL Machining

LTL Machining, a 100-year-old, family-owned manufacturing company known for precision, reliability, and craftsmanship, is hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable CNC lathe machinist who takes pride in clean setups, tight tolerances, and producing quality parts. You’ll be setting up and running CNC lathes in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment. This is a** **first-shift role with a flexible start time, designed to support work-life balance without compromising productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes for production and prototype jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot and adjust setups independently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and flow

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC lathes
• Solid knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining best practices
• Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances
• Experience with Exact JobBOSS or similar ERP system is a plus
• Positive attitude and strong sense of ownership
