Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe equipment as directed
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
  • Inspect materials and finished parts in accordance with company quality standards
  • Use basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records
  • Input data into ERP system (SAP Business One)
  • Troubleshoot minor machining and tooling issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with all safety regulations
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist or CNC Lathe Operator
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience
  • Experience with tight tolerance machining preferred
  • CAD/CAM experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling
  • Familiarity with precision measuring devices and inspection techniques
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
  • ISO 9001 experience or quality certifications are a plus
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Responsible, dependable, and trustworthy
  • Energetic team player with a positive attitude
  • Good vision and attention to detail required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is a plus
