We are looking for a
CNC Lathe Machine Operator.**
We are willing to provide training!**
**What You'll Do:
**
- Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss machines to produce precision medical implants.
- Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to inspect machined parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and daily preventative maintenance (P.M.) on machines.
- Document production activities, including first-piece inspection logs, maintenance records, and work orders.
- Follow strict quality control procedures, including ID & traceability protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus).
- Min 1 year of experience reading blueprints.
- Min 1 year of GD&T experience, measuring tolerances using micrometers, calipers and gauges
- Min 1 year of operating and setting up CNC machines, preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
