Job Overview:
**POSITION SUMMARY
:**
- The Laser Operator for is responsible for the daily operation of the laser machines including moving necessary materials to and from the machine.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
**
· Performs typical laser operations.
- Troubleshooting quality issues.
- Performs quality checks.
· Complete inspection reports for jobs ran on machine.
· Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blue prints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
· Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.
- Operate heavy machinery while utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically steel toe safety boots.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
**
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.
**QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES
**
· As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible for being aware of the company’s quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
