Job Description

The role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC or laser cutting equipment to meet production specifications.
• Establish proper stop locations and adjust the laser beam focal point for optimal cutting performance.
• Perform accurate set-ups for cutting operations based on job requirements.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and report any defects or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with CNC or laser equipment.
• Basic knowledge of metals and their properties.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and computer literate.
• Strong ability to detect and resolve production issues quickly.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metalworking or manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and safety standards in manufacturing environments.
