Responsibilities:
- Support safety and quality programs
- Set-up and operate CNC Lasers.
- Review work orders and specifications
- Follow set up procedures, quality checks, and dimensions of finished workpiece.
- Remove burrs and stage parts for next process.
- Read and interpret provided prints and specifications.
- Download program file to machine controller.
- Perform 1st piece inspection.
- Observe/listen to machine to detect malfunctions.
- Operate fork trucks to move product
- Gather, count, deburr, stack product as required.
- Cleans and organizes work area.
Qualifications:
- Basic Math background and comfort level.
- Speak, write and comprehend conversational English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Fork Truck: Requires a valid drivers license
You should be proficient in:
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Blueprint Reading
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Programming Machine Vision Systems
- Deburring Experience
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- Calipers and Micrometers
- CNC Laser Cutter (Trumpf)
- Vertical Lathe
- Forklifts
