Job Description

Our client is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to join their 3rd Shift team! In this role, you will set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut and process various metals while maintaining production quality. If you have previous manufacturing experience and enjoy hands-on technical work, this may be the right fit for you!

**Pay:

**$22.00–$25.00/hr (based on experience)

Hours:Monday–Friday | 10:00pm–6:30am

CNC Laser Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC/NC laser machines to process aluminum, mild steel, and coated steel
• Select lenses, load programs, and adjust machine specifications according to job requirements
• Read and work from blueprints while applying shop mathematics
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and scales
• Clean lenses, focus laser beams, and align nozzle tips as needed
• Complete daily machine checklists, including gas pressure verification
• Assist engineering with developing and adjusting laser programs for various materials and thicknesses

CNC Laser Operator Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of CNC laser or related manufacturing experience
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Basic computer and mathematical skills
• Comfortable frequently lifting or moving lightweight materials
• Ability to assist with routine machine maintenance and minor repairs
