About the Role

The CNC Grinder plays an important role in producing precision components by setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC grinding machines. This position requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting equipment, making machine adjustments, and maintaining consistent production quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines according to specifications and production schedules.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC grinding equipment.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC grinding machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make machine adjustments and troubleshoot routine machining issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OD/ID grinding.
• Experience setting up CNC grinding machines.
• Experience with Kellenberger grinders strongly preferred.
• Honing experience is a plus.
• Technical training or certification in CNC machining, grinding, or a related field.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
