As a Precision Grinder and become an integral part of our dynamic 2nd shift team! We are seeking skilled professionals with experience in setting up and operating CNC Precision Grinders. Key Responsibilities: Verify that the work order has the required drawing, quantity and tool information. Verify correct steel type and material size Log into and out of barcode system for every order Make sure blade is clean and in good working condition Place piece on top of blade Check the amount the tip is oversized Set program Use go/no go gauge to check barrel size before loading Check feeds and speeds for every order Grind to correct barrel size Check roundness, size and finish on each piece Run first piece, get First Piece Inspection This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. Required Skills and Attributes: Must be at least 18 years of age Experience working with precise tolerances to the ± .0005” Advanced measurement skills Inspect work for all dimensional features as required Able to use various gauges such as micrometers, indicators, air gauges, and other measuring equipment to assure compliance to blue prints Knowledge of various steel types is a plus Aptitude to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Proficient interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team Physical Requirements: Work is performed in a shop environment: air conditioned, exposure to machinery noises. Exposure to coolants, lubricants. Physical Effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending and reaching. Frequently lift, handle and carry trays weighing up to 50 lbs. • CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Makino, Doosan)
• Manual Grinder (Okamoto, Cin-Milacron)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Murata, Hyundai - Wia)
• CNC Grinder (Okuma, Toyoda, Amada, Okamoto, Mitsubishi, Anca, Studer)
• Cylindrical Grinder Machine
