Job Description

You've spent years in the field diagnosing machines that others couldn't fix. You're comfortable walking into a customer's facility, owning the problem, and leaving having earned their trust. TARUS builds large, CNC machines — and we need someone ready to be the expert on day one.

This is a senior, independent role. You'll lead the resolution of complex technical issues, serve as a resource for the broader service team, and represent TARUS as a trusted advisor to our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Independently diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and CNC controls issues at customer sites

• Lead on-site service visits with minimal supervision

• Perform advanced troubleshooting on CNC control systems including Siemens 840D / SINUMERIK ONE and Heidenhain platforms

• Perform and review preventative maintenance programs for key accounts

• Document service work thoroughly and contribute to the team's technical knowledge base

• Represent TARUS as a trusted technical advisor to customers

TRAVEL

Up to 25% domestic and occasional international travel. Some overnight travel required based on customer location and workload.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of field service experience on CNC machines or precision industrial equipment

• Deep mechanical and electrical diagnostic ability

• Hands-on experience with CNC control systems; Siemens 840D / SINUMERIK ONE or Heidenhain strongly preferred

• Proven ability to work independently at customer sites

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics at a diagnostic level

• Strong written documentation and professional communication skills

• Valid driver's license (Enhanced License a plus); legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
