Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Field Programmer to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA (30349). In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC machines to ensure efficient production runs. Responsibilities
- Program CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathes (2-4 axis) for various production tasks.
- Utilize CAM software to create and optimize CNC programs.
- Write and interpret G-Code to ensure accurate machine operations.
- Implement GD&T principles to maintain high-quality standards in machining processes.
- Set up machines for production runs, including tooling and fixtures.
- Conduct CNC machine repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Assist in the installation of CNC machines at customer sites.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathes (2-4 axis).
- Strong proficiency in CAM software and G-Code programming.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and its application in CNC machining.
- Experience with machine setups for production runs.
- Knowledge of CNC tooling and its selection for various machining tasks.
- Ability to perform CNC machine repairs and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
