We’re looking for a CNC Programmer to create CAM programs (Esprit preferred) for aerospace parts and support prove-out at the machine until parts pass inspection. This role focuses on converting existing G&M code programs into CAM software and improving efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using Esprit (Edgecam acceptable).
- Work with Okuma M560V vertical mills (3-axis required; 5-axis experience preferred).
- Support prove-out process at the machine.
- Use CAD models (CATIA) and blueprints; some print-only work.
- Ensure programs include clear notes for setup.
- Apply GD&T knowledge; maintain tolerances to .002”.
- Collaborate with engineers and shop personnel to optimize processes.
Qualifications
- CNC programming experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAM software (Esprit preferred).
- Familiarity with Okuma OSP controllers and G&M code.
- Strong GD&T understanding.
- Ability to work from CAD and prints; CATIA experience a plus.
Materials: Stainless steel, Inconel, aluminum, titanium, occasional castings.
