Qualifications
Pay Range $28 to $33 (DOE)
Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for producing CAM packages and CNC Programs for close tolerance components.
- Possess an analytical mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for improvement and innovation within Computer Aided Manufacturing.
- Maintaining revision on programs, documentations and tool data in CAM.
- Actively seeking to learn and understand machine specific G-code commands.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, quality standards, and tool selection is essential.
- Average understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Collaborate closely with teams within production, engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to support accurate and efficient CNC programs.
- Must have a detailed, organized, and systematic approach to projects.
- Self-Starter with a whatever-it-takes mentality to meet deadlines and customer needs.
- Proven experience in programming Mill-Turn machines and 5-axis CNC machines within a production environment of high-tolerance precision components.
- Create repeatable output across production, utilizing Partner teams’ feedback in the pursuit of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Adhere to industry-standard CAD design tree practices and follow internally developed workflows to facilitate smooth work transitions to colleagues.
- Actively collaborating in a diverse team to establish and update processes and procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications correctly, exercise strong shop math skills, and GD&T skills.
Requirements, Tools, and Education
- Microsoft Office suite, Mastercam/Edgecam, Creo Parametric 8.0, CAD/CAM software experience required.
- This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
- This position is considered regular, full-time, and requires a minimum in-office schedule of 40 hours per week. This may also include occasional travel.

- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Must agree to (and pass) a background check, physical, and drug screening testing.
- Minimum of 5 years of CAM programming experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of engineering or equivalent experience
