The company is looking for a safety-conscious candidate that is willing to learn and grow with the business. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.

Job Requirements:

• Follow the WPS, as specified on the applicable job card, weld plates together using FCAW and GTAW

• Locate material, verify grade, size, and quantity by visual inspection and physically measuring material

• Troubleshoot routine process problems

• Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner

• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed

• Posses Mechanical Aptitude

• Posses basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills

• Must be available to work any shift

• Able to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance

• Able to pass all pre-employment requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate welding skills in the 1,2 & 3 F positions and 1,2 & 3 G positions using GTAW and FCAW

• Ability to safely operate a lift truck up to 40,000-pound lift capacity

• Ability to safely operate hand tools such as grinder, hammer, wrench, and pry bar

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and standard measurements

• Previous work experience in an industrial environment
