Schedule

: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday - Daylight hours: 7am to 5pm - Night shift 9pm to 7am

Pay:

20-28hr

**Position Overview

**

  • The Press Brake / Punch Operator will set up and operate press brakes, horizontal bending machines, turret punches, and inline punches to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.

  • You will work from blueprints and specifications to form raw materials into finished products that meet customer requirements.

  • Operators are responsible for tooling selection, CNC program edits, quality checks, and routine equipment maintenance.

**What You’ll Be Doing

**- Set up and operate CNC press brakes and punch equipment- Interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications- Select appropriate punches, dies, and materials for each job- Calculate bend allowances and adjust machine settings for accuracy- Edit CNC programs for tooling locations and forming operations- Monitor machine performance and inspect parts throughout production- Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and laser inspection systems- Deburr parts and perform finishing using grinders, sanders, and hand tools- Perform daily maintenance to keep equipment in proper working condition- Safely move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks- Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S practices- Collaborate with teammates and assist in other areas as needed- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards

**Qualifications

**- 5+ years of press brake or punch operator experience- Strong ability to set up and operate press brakes independently- Experience selecting punches and dies for various materials- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bills of material- Understanding of bend allowances and forming calculations- Comfort editing CNC programs and adjusting machine parameters- Experience using precision measuring tools- High attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

**Physical Requirements

**- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs frequently- Comfort bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and standing or walking for extended periods- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout a 1–10 hour workday
