Our Machine Operators assist in the manufacturing process by working the production line as instructed; utilizing specialized machinery, tools, and equipment, finalizing and packaging products for shipment; and adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines. The ideal team member should maintain production standards and work towards improving efficiency without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up machinery for operation
  • Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance.
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform basic maintenance
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to the supervisor
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations
  • Wear proper safety equipment.
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a machine operator in the window and door industry

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Fabrication certificate received from a trade school.



  • 1st: 5:00 AM - 3:30PM
  • 2nd: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (2nd shift offers $1.50 differential)
