Job Description

Title: CMM technician

Location: Georgetown, KY 40324

Duration: 12+ months (Possible extension/ conversion)

Shift Hours: First shift from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform measurements of stamping dies, identify gaps to target.

Perform measurements of stamping panels and sub-assemblies to determine statistical stamped panel quality for accuracy and formability.

Perform measurements for PxP and nominal fit vehicle analysis.

Use technical expertise to analyze measurement data and make appropriate recommendations to Stamping PE and D/M on next steps.

Scan completed dies and mesh data for utilization for die repair and copy die preparation.

Qualifications:

Highly motivated individuals with proactive approach to work.

Hands-on experience with Hexagon, FaroArm measurement arm or similar systems.

Knowledge of Polyworks software with blue light/ATOS/Faro operation experience.

Engineering degree or other technical degree or min 2 yrs experience in field of metrology.
