Job Overview:
The CMM Quality Technician inspects and characterizes tungsten product from raw powder to final product. The CMM Quality Technician supports the Quality team by performing CMM inspections and providing feedback on results to production CNC operators.
**Responsibilities:
**
Interpretation and communication of CMM results to production
Final inspections on the CMM
Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy
Complete non-CMM in-process and final inspections
Perform tensile testing of powder metallurgy specimen
Characterize tungsten powder and input results into a database
Stamp, label, and wrap product to customer requirements
Requirement:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Related experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment
Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading - Preferred
3+ years’ experience inspecting product or working in a material lab - Preferred
Experience operating a CMM
