Job Description

Zeiss Calypso programming experience, Zeiss CMM operation, and strong GD&T skills.

Develop, write, and modify CNC programs for precision machining and grinding operations.

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.

Select tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency and quality.

Perform process troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.

Support setup personnel and machine operators during new job launches.

Optimize existing programs to improve cycle times and reduce scrap.

Verify program accuracy through first-piece inspections and test runs.

Collaborate with Quality and Engineering departments to resolve manufacturing issues.

Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control.

Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and all safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of G-Code, CNC controls, and machining practices.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with precision grinding, CNC machining, or metalworking operations preferred.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred.
