TITLE CMM Programmer
LOCATION: Westlake, OH
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide dimensional inspection and calibration services on a variety of parts using contact and non-contact sensors on coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to determine conformance with specifications per ISO 17025 and other standards
Will be responsible for document control to record data while maintaining quality records according to standard operating procedures
Works under direct supervision and by instructions and techniques
Timely and continued customer follow-up
Assist with unexpected/urgent situations as needed
Implement strategy to ensure assigned tasks are completed within required timeframes
Participate in training to keep current with professional standards associated with work duties.
Uphold company policies and procedures
Will be responsible for sales demonstrations and client training (in-house and onsite)
The position requires 25-35% travel.

WORK CONDITIONS:
The employee is required to sit for prolonged periods; balancing, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing
At times, work in adverse weather conditions and temperature changes
Lifting, carrying, and moving work-related supplies/equipment of 35 lbs.
Performing repetitive tasks quickly
Using a computer keyboard, monitor, and mouse for prolonged periods
Drive and travel to meetings and work assignments
Possess a valid driver’s license free of violations

CORE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Associate degree in Math, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences preferred
Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification
3-5+ years' experience in quality control
Experience with CAD (i.e. Solid Works, Pro-E, Polyworks)
Experience with CMM’s
Basic knowledge of GD&T
Must be able to read blueprints for dimensional inspection and program equipment in a CAD environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet all deadlines
Exhibit a high level of professional conduct, integrity, and accountability
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using wise judgment that is consistent with policies and procedures, regulations, and/or law
