We're recruiting for an experienced
CMM Programmer
to join a well-established, employee-owned manufacturer in Oxford, CT.

What You'll Do
- Develop, modify, validate, and troubleshoot
CMM programs
using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, customer specifications, and
GD&T
requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, Micro-Vu vision systems, and precision measurement equipment.
- Conduct
First Article Inspections (FAI)
and complete AS9102 documentation as required.
- Develop inspection plans and automated inspection routines for new and existing products.
- Perform
Gage R&R, MSA, and process capability studies
and analyze inspection data.
- Support drawing reviews and assist with inspection fixture and measurement setup development.
- Perform calibration and verification of automated inspection equipment.
- Provide metrology support to
Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Tooling
teams.
- Train employees on automated inspection equipment and proper measurement techniques.
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records in accordance with customer and company requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on
CMM programming
experience in precision manufacturing.
- Ability to independently create, modify, and troubleshoot CMM programs.
- Proficiency with
PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and
GD&T / ASME Y14.5.
- Strong understanding of dimensional metrology, inspection planning, datums, and precision measurement.
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, pin gauges, and similar tools.
- Experience with
FAI, MSA, Gage R&R, capability studies, SPC/SQC.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with
Microsoft Excel, Word, databases, spreadsheets, and related software.
