Perspective – Understands part designs and inspection requirements; identifies the right programming approach for periodic and first article inspections.

Ownership – Takes accountability for accuracy of part and die inspections and reliability of CMM equipment.
Troubleshooting – Performs general troubleshooting of CMM machine issues in a manufacturing environment.
Writes programs for periodic and first article inspections.
Performs multi-piece part and die inspections using DCC Coordinate Measuring Machines and Vision Systems.
Performs general troubleshooting of CMM machine issues in a manufacturing environment.
Assists in training manufacturing CMM operators.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three years of general dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience in general dimensional inspection including GD&T, with programming experience in PC-DMIS or Calypso.
Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
Effective communication skills.
Ability to understand blueprints and geometric tolerancing/dimensioning practices.
Computer literacy, with emphasis on CMM type software.
Familiarity with the operation and general troubleshooting of Coordinate Measuring Machines.
