Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 – $45.00 per hour

Location: Auburn, WA on-site

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

**About the Role

**

Join our precision aerospace team as a CMM Programmer and take ownership of dimensional inspection, from first article through production. You'll write and prove out CMM programs, run inspections on complex machined parts and assemblies, and be the person Quality and Production count on when a measurement needs to be trusted. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who reads a drawing, sees the GD&T, and already knows how they'd fixture and probe the part.

**What You'll Do

**

Develop, prove out, and maintain CMM programs for precision aerospace parts and assemblies, verifying conformance to drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements.

Perform CMM inspections, dimensional layouts, and AS9102 First Article Inspections; analyze results and report them clearly.

Develop alignments, probing routines, scanning strategies, and inspection fixtures for accurate, repeatable measurement.

Set up and fixture parts in complex orientations for reliable dimensional verification.

Support Production and Quality with CMM troubleshooting, measurement-variation analysis, and dimensional investigations.

Maintain CMM programs, inspection records, and related quality documentation.

**What You'll Bring

**

2+ years of CMM programming and inspection experience.

Proficiency programming and operating coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

Experience with MCOSMOS or comparable CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).

Strong working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.

Ability to read and interpret complex aerospace drawings, specifications, and CAD models.

Ability to establish datum structures, alignments, probe paths, and scanning strategies.

Skilled with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.

Able to communicate effectively with machinists, programmers, engineering, and Quality.

Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

High School Diploma or GED; able to lift up to 60 pounds.

**Preferred (Nice to Have)

**

Aerospace or precision machining experience.

Hands-on AS9102 First Article Inspection and inspection reporting.

Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO quality system requirements.
