**CMM Programmer

** $24.00–$30.00/hour, based on experience
**Schedule:
** Monday–Friday, some Saturdays based on need
**Position Summary
**
We are seeking an experienced
**CMM Programmer
** to support quality and dimensional inspection operations across
**two manufacturing facilities located approximately 15 minutes apart
**.
The CMM Programmer will develop and maintain inspection programs, perform dimensional inspections and layouts, support calibration activities, and work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams.
**Responsibilities
**
Develop, edit, and maintain
**CMM inspection programs
**.
Program and operate CMM equipment to verify customer and engineering requirements.
Perform dimensional inspections and product layouts.
Read and interpret
**blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
**.
Set up and run CMM programs using physical parts and/or CAD data.
Analyze measurement data and assist with quality investigations.
Support
**CMM and plant gauge calibration
** activities.
Maintain calibration records, labeling, and tracking systems.
Perform capability studies and MSA activities as needed.
Support dimensional control, first-piece inspection, and product release.
Work with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve dimensional issues.
Maintain a clean and organized CMM/metrology area.
**Qualifications
**
5+ years of experience programming and operating Zeiss CMM equipment.
Strong experience with Open DMIS and PC-DMIS.
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Experience with dimensional layouts and inspections.
Experience with calibration and measurement systems.
Ability to analyze inspection data and troubleshoot quality issues.
Experience with Gage Track or similar calibration systems preferred.
Familiarity with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and RedX problem-solving tools preferred.
Experience with Minitab and Microsoft Office preferred.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with quality, engineering, and production teams.
