We are seeking a skilled CMM Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Park City, KS. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform inspections on various components.
- Draw sketches using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) programs or CATIA.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of measurements and findings.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Assist in training new operators on CMM operation and best practices.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience operating CMM machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with quality control software and data analysis tools is preferred.
